The Bible teaches that salvation is the free gift of God, not of works of man, and that"whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:15-16 KJV) The Bible says, "The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 6:23 KJV).  If someone offered you a gift, would you insult them by offering to pay for that gift? Would you insult God by trying to buy your way into Heaven with your good works or religion when He has already paid the price? ??Jesus Christ paid "the wages" of our sins when He died on the cross. Romans 5:8 says,"God commendeth (demonstrated) His love towards us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us." God wants us to come to Him "by faith" to receive His "free gift of eternal life" through Christ's payment for our sin on the cross. All that we need to do is "confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved" (Romans 10:9 KJV). Won't you take the time right now to bow your head and your heart to God and accept His offer of salvation through Jesus Christ as your Saviour? His promise is that"Whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:13 KJV). Why not call upon Him right now? You can pray this simple prayer from your heart: 

Dear God, I am lost without you. I know you sent your Son, Jesus Christ, to die for me and provide me a way to Heaven. I want to ask Him to come into my heart and life and be my Saviour. I want Him to guide me through this life and take me into the life to come to spend all eternity with you. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
